Ryan joined Grimes Insurance Agency as the Principal and President in 2019. Prior to this, he served as an Executive for State Farm Insurance for 16 years. Before his leadership role at State Farm, Ryan was a successful agent in the Houston area, where he earned the prestigious President’s Club award (top 5% out of 18,000 agents) every year he was an agent and was recognized as a Top 100 agent.
Ryan is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas and holds a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from the American College of Financial Services. He is licensed in Property and Casualty, Life and Health, and also holds Series 6 and 63 Securities Licenses.
Ryan is passionate about serving his community. He is a board member for Communities in Schools and the West Texas Mortgage Bankers Association. He also heads up the Grimes Teacher of the Month award, a program recognizing 12 outstanding teachers each month who go above and beyond to educate the next generation of Lubbock leaders.
Ryan is married to Jessica, and they have seven children together. They enjoy keeping up with their kids and traveling.
